VPRA In Bloom

Parkview Home Spring 2007

Christmas 2006 the VPRA realised there was a large residents garden in Parkview home that was not tended regularly so decided with the backing of the home’s staff to adopt the garden and tidy it in our spare time.

Daffodils and primulas have been planted at the front of the building but we found a hidden oasis through the tea room windows.A large natural secure sun trap garden,a little overgrown and run down but with a couple of hours work it can be transformed.

February 2007

We bought and supplied 2 large bird tables along with nut hangers and a supply of food.

March 2007

We also managed to obtain 2 composting units from CFYA and began work on giving the garden a makeover.
